NHF-700 NIHONWELD Hardfacing Welding Electrode is a low-hydrogen hardfacing electrode designed for rebuilding and protecting steel components exposed to severe scratching abrasion and moderate impact. It deposits a high-hardness martensitic weld metal alloyed with chromium and molybdenum, providing excellent resistance to wear and extending the service life of heavy equipment and industrial components.

The weld deposit has a typical hardness of 55–60 HRC (approximately 600–720 HV), making it ideal for applications where high abrasion resistance is required. Because of its high hardness, the weld deposit is non-machinable and should be finished by grinding when necessary. NHF-700 operates with AC or DC electrode positive (DCEP) welding power sources and offers smooth arc characteristics, low spatter, and easy slag removal for improved welding performance. It is particularly suited for hardfacing components used in earth-moving, agricultural, mining, and dredging equipment.
