NSS-308 is a lime-titania coated stainless steel welding electrode classified as AWS A5.4 E308-16, designed for Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) of austenitic stainless steels. It deposits an 18% Chromium (Cr) – 8% Nickel (Ni) weld metal that provides excellent corrosion resistance, smooth bead appearance, and minimal spatter. It can be used with AC, DC positive (+), or DC negative (-) current.
