NHF-600 NIHONWELD Hardfacing Welding Electrode is a low-hydrogen (lime type) hardfacing electrode designed to produce a high-hardness martensitic weld deposit for protecting and rebuilding components subjected to severe abrasive wear and light impact. The weld metal provides excellent resistance to soil abrasion, making it ideal for extending the service life of earth-moving, mining, agricultural, and construction equipment. The deposited weld metal is non-machinable and should be finished by grinding when required. It is suitable for use with AC or DC electrode positive (DCEP) welding power sources and is commonly applied to bulldozer blades, scraper blades, bucket lips, dipper teeth, shovel edges, and other wear-prone components. The typical weld deposit hardness ranges from 54–57 HRC (580–630 HV), providing durable protection in demanding operating conditions.
