RIDGID Model 1224 Threading Machine
The RIDGID Model 1224 Threading Machine, Cat. No. 26097, is a heavy-duty professional power threading machine designed for efficient threading of a wide range of pipe and conduit. It is configured for 1/4" to 4" NPT pipe threading and uses a rugged hammer-type chuck with a rear-centering device for secure workpiece holding.
The Model 1224 features a quiet, durable induction motor, a two-speed transmission providing 36 RPM and 12 RPM, and through-the-die-head oiling for continuous lubrication of the dies and workpiece during threading. It is suitable for threading black, galvanized and plastic-coated pipe, stainless steel, IMC and heavy-wall conduit, as well as rod up to 30 Rockwell C.
The Cat. No. 26097 version is designed for 230 V, 60 Hz, single-phase electrical supply and has an 8 A nominal amp draw. The machine weighs approximately 509 lb (231 kg).
