TB Wood’s Sure-Flex Elastomeric Coupling Elements are flexible replacement sleeves designed for Sure-Flex elastomeric couplings. They provide flexible power transmission while absorbing shock loads, vibration, shaft misalignment, and end float, helping protect connected equipment and reduce maintenance requirements. TB Wood’s Sure-Flex sleeves are available in different materials and constructions; the JE type is made from EPDM and uses a one-piece solid construction.

1-Piece, Unsplit means the elastomeric element is manufactured as one continuous, solid sleeve, with no longitudinal split or opening in the sleeve.

For the JE element:
• 1-Piece → the sleeve is a single continuous component.
• Unsplit/Solid → it does not have a split along its length.
• Material: EPDM rubber.
• Element Type: JE.
• Function: Provides the flexible connection between the coupling flanges while accommodating vibration, shock, misalignment, and end float.
