The RIDGID PowerClear™ R7 is a compact, portable electric drain-cleaning machine designed for clearing blockages in small residential and light-commercial drain lines, particularly tubs, showers and sinks. It uses AUTOFEED® technology to advance and retrieve the cable without requiring the operator to handle the rotating cable directly.

The PowerClear™ R7 is equipped with a 30-foot (9.14 m) × 1/4-inch (6 mm) MAXCORE™ 50 inner-core cable and is designed for drain lines from approximately 3/4 to 1-1/2 inches. Its clear front housing allows the operator to see the cable, while the two-piece guide hose helps contain debris and water around the work area.

The machine provides forward rotation for normal cleaning and momentary reverse rotation when necessary.

6. Pneumatic Foot Switch
The foot switch provides convenient ON/OFF control while allowing the operator to keep both hands available for guiding the drain-cleaning equipment.
