Both models cover 1/8" to 2" NPT pipe, use universal dies, provide through-the-head oiling, and are designed for right-hand (RH) threading. 1. RIDGID Model 811A – Cat. No. 97065
The RIDGID 97065 Model 811A is a 1/8"–2" NPT Quick-Opening Die Head for right-hand pipe threading. Its quick-opening mechanism allows the operator to manually release the die head at the desired thread length, making it particularly useful where different thread lengths are required. The head incorporates through-the-head oiling to deliver cutting oil directly to the threading dies during operation.

2. RIDGID Model 815A – Cat. No. 97075
The RIDGID 97075 Model 815A is a 1/8"–2" NPT Self-Opening Die Head for right-hand pipe threading. Unlike the 811A, the self-opening mechanism automatically releases the die head after the preset thread length is reached, helping produce repeatable thread lengths during repetitive threading operations. It also incorporates through-the-head oiling.
