The Kana Chain Coupling Casing is the protective housing that encloses the chain coupling body (the sprockets and roller chains) to provide lubrication retention and environmental protection when the coupling is in service.
Structure & Features
1. Split Case Design
• The casing is made in two halves that split perpendicular to the shaft.
• This split design makes it easy to install and remove the body without disassembling the entire machinery.
2. V-Shaped Groove with O-Ring Seals
• On each side of the casing, there’s a V-shaped groove that holds O-rings to seal the casing and prevent oil leakage.
• This helps keep the internal lubrication in place and prevents contaminants from entering.
3. Material & Construction
• Typically made from aluminum alloy casting, giving the casing strength while keeping weight moderate.
• Includes bolts and O-rings as part of the mounting and sealing components.
