Product Listing Policy

Effective: June 2022

  1. GENERAL PROVISION

1.1. Devcophil website, www.devcophil.com was designed and developed for the selling and procurement of industrial products, such as, machineries, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, services, and other industrial essentials.

1.2. Devcophil will not upload, post or sell any product that are restricted or prohibited by Law of the Republic of the Philippines.

1.3. Devcophil in its sole discretion, reserves the right to reject to post and sell restricted and prohibited items, including items that Devcophil determined to be inappropriate, and to impose additional restrictions and prohibitions, if necessary.
1.4. For purposes of this Product Listing Policy, we have listed some categories of prohibited or restricted items that Devcophil forbid and prohibit posting, sale, or offer to purchase.

  1.  PROHIBITED AND CONTROLLED ITEMS

2.1. Illicit Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia

a. Narcotics, tranquilizers, psychotropic drugs, synthetic drugs, steroids and other controlled substances;

b.Drug paraphernalia, including all items that are primarily intended or designed for use in manufacturing, concealing, or using a controlled substance.

2.2. Flammable, Explosive and Hazardous Chemicals

  1. Explosives and related ignition and detonation equipment;

  2. Radioactive substances, toxic and poisonous chemicals;

  3. Hazardous or dangerous materials;

  4. Ozone depleting substances;

  5. Products containing harmful substances;

  6. Fireworks, firecrackers and related products.

2.3. Firearms and Ammunitions
  1. Any arm, ammunitions, weapons, including explosive weapons, and/or any related parts and components, whether integral or otherwise; 
  2. Replica (look-alike) or imitation firearms, and/or any related parts and components, whether integral or otherwise.  This prohibition covers products, such as, air guns, paintball guns, harpoons, spear guns and other weapons that may discharge a projectile containing any gas, chemical or explosive substances;
  3. Instruction materials, process, services and aid for producing any biological, chemical or nuclear weapons, or other weapons of mass destructions (WMD), or any associated agents.
2.4. Weapons

  1. While posting of knives, cutter retractable blade utility knives, cutting instruments are permitted, however, knives like, Batangas knives, bladed handheld devices, disguised knives are strictly prohibited;

  2. Weapons that can incapacitate or cause serious physical harm or injuries to others.

2.5. Government, Law Enforcement and Military Issued Items

  1. Clothing and any identification that appears similar to official government uniform;

  2. Law enforcement equipment and vehicles;

  3. Military decoration, medals, award and badges;

  4. Police and military uniforms and insignia.

2.6. Medical Drugs
  1. Prescription drugs, psychotropic drugs and narcotics;
  2. Orally administered or ingested sexual enhancement foods and supplements;
  3. Prescription veterinary drugs.
2.7. Collections, Artifacts and Precious Metals
  1. Currency, coins, banknotes, stocks, bonds, money order, credit and debit cards, currency in digital or any intangible form (e.g., crypto-currency), as well as, the equipment and materials used to produce such items;
  2. Counterfeit of the items in clause 2.7 (a);
  3. Gold, silver, diamond and other precious metals, including jewelries;
  4. Artifacts, cultural relics, historical grave markers and related items;
2.8. Human Parts and Human Remains
  1. Human body parts and remains, such as, organs, blood, bones, sperm and eggs.
2.9. Protected Flora and Fauna
a. Endangered species of wild Flora and Fauna, including animal parts, such as, pelts, skins, internal organs, teeth, claws, shells bones, tasks, ivory, logs, roots, and other parts;
b. Any parts of and/or containing ingredients derived from sharks and other marine mammals;
c. Poultry, livestock and pets;
2.10. Stolen Properties

  1. Stolen properties include items taken from private individuals, and/or properties taken from companies and governments.

  1. OTHER LISTING PROHIBITION

3.1. Used and Refurbished Products
  1. Used, second hands and refurbished equipment, machineries, tools, parts, and related products.
3.2. Real Estate, Buildings and Condominiums
  1. Real estates, such as, residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial lands, including buildings and condominiums.
3.3. Alcohol, Foods and Beverages
  1. Alcohol, foods and beverages, including grocery items.
3.4. Tobacco Products
  1. While posting of equipment used for tobacco processing and production is permitted, posting of tobacco products, included but not limited to cigars, cigarettes, cigarette tobacco, pipe tobacco, hookah tobacco, chewing tobacco and tobacco leaf are prohibited;
  2. Nicotine and other liquids for use in electronic cigarettes.
3.5. Chemical Products
a. Any chemical, either gas, liquid or solid form that has potential to cause harm that are referred to as hazardous or dangerous;
b. Any toxic substances that can be poisonous or cause health effects.
3.6. Sanctioned and Regulated Items
a. While other petrochemical products, like, engine oils and lubricants, plastics, soap and detergents, solvents, synthetic fibers, rubber, paints, epoxy resins, and floor and insulating materials are permitted, however, products subject to regulation, sanctions and trade restriction, like, diesel, gasoline, natural gas liquid products are prohibited;
b. Coal, iron, iron ore, titanium ore, vanadium ore and other rare earth minerals.
3.7. Controversial Items

  1. Items that encourage illegal activities;

  2. Items that are racially, religiously or ethnically derogatory, or that promote hatred, violence, racial or religious discrimination;

  3. Giveaways, lotteries, raffles or contests;

  4. Stocks, bonds, investment interests and other securities;

  5. Adult and obscene materials;

  6. Pornographic materials or items that are sexual in nature;

  7. Items that do not offer a physical product or service for sale, such as digital currencies and advertisements solely for the purpose of collecting user information;

  8. Replica and counterfeit items;

  9. Intellectual and property rights;

  10. Circumvention devices and other equipment used for illicit purposes;
